Description
The Beni Highland is a wild Capsicum variety from the Beni region of Bolivia's Amazonian lowlands. Its small, elongated pods ripen to bright red with moderate to high heat and a fruity, aromatic flavor typical of wild Bolivian chilis. Relatively unknown outside South America, it is used by local communities in traditional cooking and is of interest to botanists for its genetic diversity.
