Description
The Bhut Jolokia, or Ghost Pepper, held the Guinness World Record for the world's hottest pepper from 2007 to 2010. Native to northeastern India, its conical, wrinkled pods ripen to vivid red or orange and pack over 1 million SHU. Despite its fearsome heat, it has a fruity, complex flavor that has made it prized in Indian cuisine and the global hot sauce industry.
