Description
The NuMex R Naky is an extremely mild chili developed by Dr. Nakayama at New Mexico State University released in 1985 from crosses between New Mexico pod types and Bulgarian paprika producing long red pods of approximately 13 cm with virtually zero pungency and exceptional color. With a color rating of 188 ASTA it is primarily cultivated as a paprika pepper for its rich red pigment and is also suitable for stuffing roasting and fresh eating as a sweet pepper alternative. Its combination of vibrant red color minimal heat and high yield makes it an important commercial paprika variety.
