Description
The Pimenta de Neyde is a rare and visually stunning Brazilian chili producing small tapered pods of 5-7 cm that remain a deep purple-plum throughout their entire life cycle unlike most peppers that change color when ripe making it one of the few chilis that is purple at full maturity. Developed in Brazil and named after a Brazilian chili enthusiast it delivers intense fruity heat of 150,000-250,000 SHU behind its beautiful dark exterior. Its extraordinary color and genuine superhot characteristics have made it prized among chili collectors and specialty growers worldwide.
