The Siling Haba (meaning "long pepper" in Filipino) is a staple chili of Philippine cuisine producing slender light green pods of 13-18 cm with mild heat of 1,000-10,000 SHU and a fresh grassy flavor. Also known as finger chili it is essential in sinigang kare-kare and other Filipino dishes adding subtle warmth without overpowering other flavors.
