Description
The Sport pepper is a small chili essential to Chicago-style cuisine particularly the famous Chicago hot dog. Its small cylindrical pods of 4-5 cm ripen from light green to yellow with mild to moderate heat of 10,000-20,000 SHU and a tangy briny flavor when pickled. Virtually always served pickled it is a staple condiment of Chicago-style sandwiches and hot dogs.
