The Tehaswini Hybrid is an Indian commercial chili hybrid producing long thin pods that ripen to bright red with heat of 30,000-50,000 SHU and strong pungency. Developed for Indian agricultural conditions it is valued for its high yield disease resistance and good color quality making it suitable for fresh markets dried chili and spice powder production. It is grown across chili-producing states in India.
