Description
The Trinidad Scorpion is a Capsicum chinense superhot from Trinidad producing small pods with a distinctive pointed scorpion-tail tip that ripen to brilliant red with extreme heat of 1,000,000-1,500,000 SHU. Despite its ferocious heat it carries a fruity tropical flavor characteristic of chinense peppers. It held the Guinness World Record for hottest pepper in 2011 and remains among the world's most extreme chilies used by heat enthusiasts and for pepper spray production.
