Description
The Xiao Mi La (meaning "small rice chili" in Chinese) is a popular small chili widely cultivated across China producing tiny thin pods of 2-4 cm that ripen to vivid red with heat of 30,000-50,000 SHU and a clean sharp flavor. It is a staple of Sichuan Hunan and other spicy regional Chinese cuisines used fresh dried in oil and in countless spicy preparations from mala hot pot to pickled chili condiments.
