Description

The Yellow Manzano is a Capsicum pubescens chili from the cool Andean highlands of Peru and Bolivia producing round thick-fleshed pods that ripen to sunny yellow with distinctive black seeds unique to the pubescens species. With moderate heat of 12,000-30,000 SHU it delivers a rich fruity flavor making it pleasant to eat fresh. Like all manzano peppers it thrives in cool mountain climates and is prized in Andean and Mexican highland cooking for its unusual color and fruity profile.
